Your Family’s Healthspan/Lifespan Journey

There is no greater gift to a family than that of maintaining and improving the health of each family member. Enabling future generations of descendants to live longer and embark on healthier lives is the best legacy you can leave to your family. The Grand Teton Club aspires to create a community for like-minded, technology optimistic and future-facing families who believe that community and mindset are important pillars of a Healthspan/Lifespan philosophy.. Through the establishment of Multi-Generational Family Compounds to archive each family’s genetic information, and create a resource of banked stem cells, blood, sperm, egg, genome sequencing, and other family genetic and biological assets, to be stored in engineered reinforced concrete underground storage facilities in the basements of the smaller of two homes – the Main Home and the Guest House/Family BioRepository.

Title for section

Healthspan and lifespan are two related, but distinct concepts used to
measure two aspects of human longevity and overall human health.

● Lifespan: length of time a person lives
● Healthspan: the duration of healthy and functional life

Maximizing both Lifespan and Healthspan typically requires a
combination of genetics, lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and access
to quality healthcare.

There is no greater gift to a family than that of good health, and enabling future generations to live longer and healthier lives is the best legacy you and your family can provide to your future generations. Our aspirations for The Grand Teton Club include allowing like-minded, technology optimistic and future facing families who believe that community and mindset are one of the pillars of Healthspan/Lifespan.

We envision a community of Multi-generational Family Compounds to archive each family’s genetic information and create a resource of banked stem cells, blood, sperm and egg and genome sequencing and other family biological assets to be stored in an engineered reinforced concrete underground storage facility in the basements of the smaller of two homes – the Main Home and the Guest House/Family BioRepository.

The Grand Teton Institute

We have formed the non-profit Grand Teton Institute, to be funded by charitable donations from our founders and friends. The Institute will be dedicated to researching into the Diseases of Aging. While many medical professionals consider aging to be a natural process in all animals and not a disease, we and several research institutes embrace the philosophy that aging itself is a treatable biological process—and many in the field take it one step further, framing aging as a disease or at least as the major driver of disease and disability.

We humans have evolved to have most of us die, beginning in our 50’s, of three main types of diseases that are rare in young adults – cancers, cardiovascular diseases and diseases of the brain. We believe that research into why we are programmed this way can uncode our DNA that governs how long we can live before these diseases take our lives. We are likely to eventually eliminate all of these diseases or postpone them by decades or more. Because many health conditions and susceptibilities run in families, archiving a family’s genomes will likely be key to understanding and addressing the particular susceptibilities that family may have towards certain types of diseases.

We plan to donate HomeSites to several different research institutes. We want to help these important research institutes raise funds to build homes with offices to serve as research retreats for their researchers and our fellow Community Members. The retreats will allow the researchers to work and be part of our community that values their work. We also plan to hold conferences, symposiums, fireside chats, and summits to explore the latest medical technologies. Some of these events will be simulcast.

We have spoken to several research institutes and have received favorable responses. And are working to finalize the Home Site donation program. If you are interested in this area of Gerontology Research, here are six research institutions that we think are doing terrific and moving the needle forward within the research that will lead to appropriate the medical treatments and care for of the future

The Five Pillars of Healthspan/Lifespan

A science-backed framework designed to optimize longevity for you and future generations

Diet

Farm-to-table nutrition via on-site vertical farming & regenerative agriculture and humane animal husbandry

Exercise

Private golf, ski resorts, 100+ miles of trails, and a fitness center

Sleep

Noise-free wilderness with homes designed to optimize sleep.

Technology

Annual whole-genome sequencing, full-body MRI scans (onsite or at remote imaging facilities), and AI-driven health diagnostics

Community

Under Idaho law, 125 residents in an unincorporated part of a County can form their own city. We look forward to incorporaating the City of Grand Teton, Idaho when we reach this many residents and level of maturity in the building and development of the area. We will be better able control the zoning laws towards realizing all of our future aspirations as a community without the opposition of a City or County.

125+ families pioneering the future of proactive healthcare

Our Director of Optimized Sleep is the world-renowned Dr. Michael Breus, who has designed a Sleep Optimizing Protocol. Click here for a webinar outlining his protocol for improved sleep. Dr. Breus charges $5,000 for an eight-week sleep-improvement treatment program, and he outlines his approach to improving sleep in this free webinar he recorded for us.
